In early 2022 we launched our yacht charter business. Since then, we have expanded our fleet, increased our maritime knowledge, established relations with ports and docking stations in popular vacation destinations, and increased our staffing and service capabilities, all of which enable us to provide our customers with a voyage that is both secure and enjoyable.

We prioritize our client’s desires to sail in luxury, by providing them with the finest catamarans and motor yachts. Each of our ships has been chosen not just for its power on the seas, but also its attention to detail, comforts, space, and amenities, both above and below deck.

Such sensitivity also extends to our drive to remain eco-friendly. Since we love open water, we are also acutely aware of its fragility. Hence, we have made it one of our top priorities to reduce the effect that our yachts and catamarans have on the sea. We push for environmental alternatives, such as fuel management, waste collection, and recycling aboard all our ships.

Overall, we constantly strive to outperform and overdeliver in every aspect when it comes to sailing aboard our yachts. Our personalized client services are embedded with both trust and integrity. No matter the ship you rent or how long your travels are for, we will always ensure that you come first.

• Do I need a license to man a yacht by myself?
  Most countries require specialized navigational licenses and permits in order to charter a yacht by yourself. Only France and Ireland do not require such licenses. However, since all our rentable yachts have an engine horsepower greater than 6, they require valid licenses to man. Please consult your regional maritime legislation for further information on how to obtain such licensing. AG Luxury can also provide you with a licensed skipper to captain your journey with us aboard our yachts, should you lack the required qualifications.
• Is it expensive to rent a yacht?
  Prices usually vary, depending on factors such as the size of the yacht, amenities on board, services offered, for how long the rental period is, if meals and other necessities are required and others. AG Luxury Yachts will help you find the best possible solution to fulfill your maritime voyage while sticking to your preferred budget. Please contact us for more details.
• Do I need to plan a route myself?
  No, not necessarily. If you have a predetermined route or destination you wish to take, please let us know where you are heading. However, if you are unsure of where you want to travel, our experienced skippers can choose and navigate the most pleasant and scenic routes and destinations for you to enjoy your trip. As we mainly traverse the Greek islands, we have beautiful docking stations in Corfu and Lefkada, two of its most beautiful isles.
• Are your yachts safe?
  Our client’s and staff’s safety are top priorities when sailing with us. All our ships are equipped with basic safety equipment, life vests, rafts, and first aid kits. Additionally, our staff are trained in basic first aid and CPR measures. Finally, all our ships are in direct contact with local and international maritime rescue organizations.
• Where can you dock our yachts?
  Due to licensing and registrations, one cannot dock our yachts just anywhere. However, we have two ports where you can dock at, one in Lefkada, and one in Corfu.
• How does crew rentals work?
  All our yacht crews are trained and licensed accordingly to their role on the ships. From skippers, to deck hands, and stewards, all of our crew can be requested on your next excursion with us on both fully staffed voyages to partial ones as well. Please let us know during the booking stage, if you require a fully manned vessel or a partial one. Additionally, please let us know if you require anything in particular from our crew beforehand.
• Are crew quarters the same as guest ones?
  If you book with us a partial or fully staffed yacht, the crew has their own distinct quarters and eating areas separate from those of the guests. This allows for increased sense of privacy and separation between guests and staff. Additionally, we instruct our crew to abide by the schedules of the guests to maintain organization.
• Do I need health checks or shots before traveling on a yacht?
  Depending on what country you are traveling from, you may need certain vaccinations or health checks before traveling to foreign lands. We recommend checking with your local healthcare providers for further information and to ensure you are physically fit to endure a sea voyage before booking with us.
• Is yachting a good choice for a family?
  As our yachts are spacious with lodging for up to 8 persons, it allows enough room for couples, small gatherings, and even families to spend quality time together in an environment that's good for all ages. However, as waters can sometimes be turbulent and choppy, we do not recommend taking babies or young children on board.
