The vegetation and sapphire colored waters contrast sharply with its white cliffs and powdery beaches. In the northwest of the island is the picturesque beach town of Paleokastritsa. Often called the most beautiful part of the island, it has emerald-colored waters, beaches, bays, coves, and caves.

Next, set your sights on Rovinia and Marathias, two beautiful beaches in Paleokastritsa, about 20 kilometers (12 miles) from main town in Corfu. It is known for having shallow waters, which makes it an excellent place for families.

Lefkada, Greece

Lefkada, sometimes called "Lefkas," lies in the heart of the Greek islands, connected to the mainland via a small over path. With its accessibility, bays that look like they belong on a postcard, and long line of sailing towns that are among the best in the world, it is our next top-pick for ports to dock at with our ships.

The main town of Lefkada is a great place to go if you are looking for a bustling nightlife scenery and things to do besides swimming and relaxing on its vibrant beaches. There are dance clubs all over town with the Marina offering a great selection of taverns, cafes, bars, restaurants, and shopping center filled with excellent local and fish food.

Like most Greek islands, Lefkada has many beaches, but Porto Katsiki is considered the most beautiful. White cliffs rise around this beautiful beach, with deep blue waters that are great for a swimming, windsurfing and other water sports. Recently the island has also become a hotspot for diving due to the beautiful marine life around the island.

The surrounding area of Lefkada offers multiple opportunities for outdoor activities like as hiking and mountain riding, with locals offering guided excursions. The Waterfalls of Nydri and the Medieval Castle of Santa Maura are also wonderful attractions that can be found on the island.
